    From Haneda Airport to the Yokohama area, take the Keikyu Airport Shuttle Bus towards Yokohama Station (YCAT). It takes about 30 minutes, and you can enjoy the view of the Tokyo and Yokohama bay area. You don't need to transfer your luggage on the way, and you arrive directly at Yokohama City Air Terminal (YCAT) next to Yokohama Station.

    YCAT is one of the most famous bus terminals in the Yokohama area. It has suburban buses as well as medium- and long-distance buses to everywhere in Japan. Waiting areas and souvenir shops, as well as shopping buildings and department stores are just a few minutes walk away, so you can stay at the starting point of your trip.
    Other buses in service are the Keikyu Open-Top Bus Yokohama (Sat, Sun, Holidays) and the Hakkeijima Sea Paradise Bus for enjoying the scenery of the bay area. You can also take the Keikyu Line bound for Shinagawa and Asakusa as well as the Miura Peninsula.

    Have fun at a museum built by one of Japan's leading railway companies

      The Keikyu Group is especially famous among Japanese railways and buses. Its musuem has been established on the first floor of the head office. A 5-minute walk from Yokohama Station. This museum is a rising star with a real train and a sophisticated diorama.

    The corporate Keikyu Group is centered on Keikyu Corporation, famous for its “red train”. The main service area is from Shinagawa to Haneda Airport, Kawasaki, Yokohama, and Miura Peninsula, and the company has transportation, real estate, leisure, and distribution services.

      The first thing that jumps out when you enter the museum is the “Keikyu History” section, with its large red train on display. Actual vehicles that were built in 1929 and retired in 1978 are on display. The platform recalls the old days, making visitors feel that the train could depart at any time. Enjoy a vivid sense of the actual car size and its history.

      When you enter the car from the platform, half of the interior remains intact, so you can sit in one of its seats.
      Glass cases are lined up behind the car, and old maps, tickets, and booklets are on display. Looking around you see successive generations of hanging advertisements everywhere. You get to experience a Keikyu train as it was back then.

      An elaborate 12-meter-long diorama is set up in front of the Keikyu History car, and is visible from within it. The terrain, trees, building shapes as well as shops and factories in front of the station and the landscape along with the Keikyu Line are realistically reproduced. Even the appearance of people in motion has been carefully recreated.
      Start by taking note of the area around Yokohama Station. The Keikyu Group Head Office and nearby department stores are true to life! Gaze to your heart's content.

      For 100 yen a go, you can be the driver and drive through the diorama. An ultra-compact camera is installed at the head of a car, so you can drive a model train using a real cab. The monitor displays the Keikyu line. You will definitely be impressed with the accuracy of the true to life diorama.

      Elaborate bus routes connecting the city of Yokohama and its surroundings. The attraction's monitor displays one of the most famous of these routes, and you can experience it in a realistic driver's seat, as if you were driving. The equipment of the real scheduled bus is almost completely reproduced, so even the payment machine and the switches used for announcements are realistically reproduced. Experience the views familiar to bus drivers, from the windshield to peripheral equipment.

      At your feet are the many stop buttons. Keikyu Museum staff installed many stop buttons with the knowledge that normally you can't push them until reaching the bus stop destination. Press them at any time, as many times as you like. It's a nice attraction for families with children.
