    Intermediatheque, located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of KITTE, has made available to the public, free of charge, the scientific specimen collection of the University of Tokyo accumulated since the university's inception in 1877. This museum is run by Japan's highest educational institution in cooperation with Japan Post. Various artifacts, including animal skeletons, medical equipment, minerals, and more are displayed in a magnificent atmosphere served by a unique design.

    The Mitsubishi Ichigokan Museum is hosted inside a building with an impressive red brick façade which was completed in 1894 and restored in 2009. It was reconstructed as faithfully as possible in keeping with the original design by a British architect Josiah Conder.

    This vast park rich in nature was created in a section of Edo Castle (the current Imperial Palace). The East Gardens of the Imperial Palace are open to the public and everyone can stroll around in them. The lunch time concerts by the Imperial Police Force music corps, although held only occasionally, are especially recommended.

    Outside the Ote-sanno-mon Gate from the Ote-mon Gate runs a 50-meter long stone wall. You will be surprised to see how the most advanced techniques of the time were employed in order to pile large stones without any gaps between them.

The latest installment of the Godzilla movie series, "Shin Godzilla," released in 2016, features several scenes shot in Tokyo Station. In this movie, Godzilla heads north destroying in his walk the areas around Tokyo, including Kamakura, Yokohama and Kawasaki, and upon reaching Tokyo Station ... since we do not want to spoil the movie for you, make sure you go see it before visiting the station. One scene even features a Keikyu bus. Watch carefully without blinking!
